Our Principal Dentist Dr Jack Hudson is an Invisalign® Full provider meaning we can treat a wide variety of problems associated with crooked or misaligned teeth. Being Invisalign® Full providers, we have an unlimited number of aligners available to perfect your smile, so we won’t stop until you are happy with the new position of your teeth.
If you decide that Invisalign® is right for you, we will set about designing your unique treatment plan. Each plan is designed around each patient’s needs, but first, a 3D image of your teeth will be created using our state of the art Itero digital scanner.
We’ll then develop a treatment timeline according to teeth movements and changes that are expected to happen. This timeline will be different for each person with most cases taking around 6-9 months but some are completed in as little as 8 weeks.
Using your 3D image, your bespoke clear aligners will be made just for you. You will wear these for 1-2 weeks before switching to the next set of aligners in your treatment plan.
You will wear your Invisalign® clear aligners day and night, taking them out to eat, drink and clean your teeth. Because they are so discrete, they will be barely noticeable to anyone and you will be free to go about your life just as normal.
Invisalign® doesn’t hurt, but you might feel some initial discomfort with the first aligner as it starts to move your teeth into the new desired position. After this, the ligaments that have been holding your teeth in position are now more stretchy and the discomfort eases after the first couple of days of treatment.
